Blog Numero 4

From the articles I have learned about the problems in other countries and how they differ in what area of the world you live in and also how much the population affects water shortages. I learned some very interesting ways that people in india are reusing there dirty water and making it drinkable. In spain people are trying to raise awareness on water shortages by speaking to the public on how to conserver water at home. Here in America the government is stepping in to regulate how much water is taken out of aquifers though out the United States. I need to go deeper into why so much water is being used and what precautions need to be taken to prevent water running out in certain areas of the world. I think looking into some articles that talk about organizations that help to find and conserve water would be very helpful.

Blog #3

I have a good idea on what direction I want to go with my paper, which makes it much easier to narrow down my sources. Using words like Oglala Aquifer and future are words that interest me about the water situation that the center of America is having and I would love to learn more about these things. With interest in those articles coming up it makes it easier to read those articles and find more key words to narrow my search even more. If I put words in like worldwide or africa I get totally different sources that I'm not exactly looking for. There is a lot of sources on my topic and I can honestly say I like it when there's an overwhelming amount because it gives me more of a selection on what source is the best for my essay. I really just look for things that interest me in these sources because I feel its much easier to write about things that interest me. For instance while I was looking through some sources I found that there is a lot of statistical facts about water usage in America and I think its so cool to learn these amazing facts.

A huge problem that millions of people in the entire world are having today is drought and water conservation. In some areas of the world it is becoming more and more difficult to conserve water with the growth of population and extreme drought.
  • What can be done to conserve water?
  • How can we find more fresh water in areas that don't have water?
  • What can people do to help conserve water at home?
  • What is the government doing about it?
  • What is the ogallala aquifer?                                                     Bold (Most useful)
  • Will the ogallala aquifer ever run dry?
  • What are some issues in other country's?
  • What is America doing to help other country's?
  • Future projects?
  • Why is so much water being used?
Water is important to every single person on the planet because of the simple fact we all need it to live. From growing crops, providing energy, cleaning yourself, putting out fires, and most of all to drink. A person can only live a few days without something to drink but water is something most people take for granted.

Drought and water conservation: What can be done to conserve water? Requiring low-flow shower heads be installed in all hotels and apartments, which would reduce the water being used greatly.

Being 19 years old is still very young to me and I couldn't see how anyone could be an "expert" at anything already, but I guess anything is possible. Hi my name is Trenton Morgan and I am currently NOT an expert at anything at the moment. I do know a great deal about the construction industry because that's really the only job I've ever had. I love to build things and use my mind to find better ways to do certain jobs. But when I'm not building walls or hanging sheet rock I like to hang out with my friends and participate in outdoor activities that usually involve water. I'm a fun guy that would much rather be doing something active rather than reading a book or playing some video games. Although if I was to read any book it would be a history book because I really enjoy learning about past events and how people got through them. I really don't stay up to date on all the problems in the white house or even the issues that are being portrayed in the news today but one thing that caught my interest in the water crisis though out the world. I think it would be really cool to help fix some of the problems people have getting water. I mean you never know, you could be the person with the right idea to fix the water crisis completely. I would like to learn more about the efforts to make the world a better place and maybe even how a guy like me could help.
